Injectables
Kybella
Injectable treatment for submental fullness.
Piece · 009
Overview
What kybella does, in plain language.
Kybella is deoxycholic acid — the same molecule the body uses to break down dietary fat — injected in a grid pattern under the chin to reduce submental fullness.
It works over a series. Fat cells in the treatment zone are cleared over weeks and do not return. For the right anatomy, it's a genuine alternative to surgery.
Kybella is best for a well-defined pocket of submental fat in a patient with reasonable skin quality. It is not a treatment for loose skin or for weight loss.
A consultation determines whether this treatment is right for you — every plan begins with a conversation and a physician assessment.
